1.

Each year, UNIMAS offers opportunities for candidates to pursue a Bachelor's Degree who have not been accepted into public higher learning institutions, yet meet the minimum academic requirements and come from families with a household income below RM3000 (B40 group). This initiative reflects the university's commitment to providing opportunities for underprivileged students, aiming to help them improve their family's financial situation upon graduation. However, despite this effort, many of the candidates face challenges. Often, they receive negative feedback from their families, and many do not attend the registration due to financial constraints, particularly the inability to pay the fees. To fulfill its original goal, UNIMAS recognizes that support for B40 students must include funding for registration, semester fees, and other related costs for their first semester while they await financial assistance from sources like PTPTN.

Refer No.2 Point : IPTA Foundation Financial Assistance

This financial aid funding is for students in the target group B40 and M40 who follow a basic level program with a family income of less than RM10,000 per month. Students who have registered to follow the course using the eligibility requirements of passing SPM or its equivalent are eligible to apply. Students are required to sign an agreement with a guarantor. No refunds will be charged but students will have to repay the aid money that has been given if they fail to follow the study program successfully. Applicants must be Malaysian citizens. The aim of this assistance is as a platform to help students from low and medium income families continue their studies up to the tertiary level.
