1. | Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS) introduced a special admission initiative for the 2024/2025 academic session aimed at providing greater access to higher education for Sarawakian students from low-income (B40) families. The initiative offers Bachelor’s degree opportunities to local candidates who have completed STPM or equivalent diploma qualifications, particularly those who were unsuccessful in previous UPU applications. This effort reflects UNIMAS’s strong commitment to promoting educational inclusion and social mobility among underprivileged communities in Sarawak by ensuring that deserving students have the opportunity to pursue quality higher education regardless of financial background. | |||||||||||||
