1. | UNIMAS offers several international scholarships to attract talented students from around the world. The UNIMAS International Scholarship Award (UISA) targets high-achieving international students, while the Malaysia International Scholarship (MIS), a government initiative, enables postgraduate students from eligible countries to study in Malaysia with tuition and allowances covered. Additionally, the Malaysian Technical Cooperation Programme (MTCP) Scholarship supports students from developing countries for 12–24 months of postgraduate study, promoting South-South cooperation. All programmes provide financial support for tuition and living expenses, and applications are submitted online through UNIMAS’s scholarship portal. | |||||||||||||
2. | UNIMAS hosted H.E. Mr. Md Shameem Ahsan, High Commissioner of Bangladesh to Malaysia, for an interactive session at the university. The visit included a cultural performance and meetings with the Vice Chancellor, Professor Ahmad Hata Bin Rasit, and other senior officials. Both sides appreciated the contributions of Bangladeshi students and faculty to UNIMAS and the development of bilateral relations. The High Commissioner expressed support for further collaboration, including institutional linkages with Bangladeshi universities.
