Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS) has been selected to host the Sarawak Zone UPU2U 2023 Outreach Program which this time will reach out to local communities in the Central part of Sarawak. UPU2U 2023 Sarawak Zone Outreach Program is located at Stephen Kalong Ningkan Hall, Betong and Rumah Sungai Langit, Betong. This program, held in collaboration with the Department of Higher Education, aims to promote and disseminate information about existing study programs as well as new programs offered by Public Institutes of Higher Education (IPTA), Polytechnics, Community Colleges, ILKA, Matriculation Division (BMKPM) and other institutions that focused on rural students.

The SULUNG 2.0 Program aims to provide educational opportunities and financial support to the first child from B40 families who are the first in their family to pursue higher education at a public university (UA). This initiative, under the Ministry of Higher Education (KPT), seeks to contribute to inclusive human capital development and foster social transformation. By empowering these students, the program aims to improve the socio-economic status of B40 families, helping them break free from the cycle of poverty and achieve better economic outcomes.
