1.

UNIMAS is gearing up for improved mobility as Sarawak Metro recently engaged with UNIMAS Corporate to identify optimal student pick-up and drop-off points across campus. In collaboration with the Security Division and Development Office, an on-site assessment is being planned to ensure the selected locations align with Sarawak Metro’s ongoing route enhancements. This initiative goes beyond locating bus stops—it aims to transform the commuting experience for students and staff. By optimizing feeder bus routes and integrating the ART Blue Line, the effort is set to deliver smoother, safer, and more convenient daily transportation, demonstrating a strong commitment to meeting the evolving mobility needs of the UNIMAS community.

2.
UNIMAS is partnering with BEAM to promote sustainable commuting options on campus through a free e-scooter training session for students and staff. The collaboration encourages green transportation by equipping participants with safe riding skills and knowledge of e-scooter benefits. This initiative aligns with UNIMAS's commitment to sustainability, aiming to reduce carbon emissions and foster eco-friendly travel options within the community. The session, open to all skill levels, highlights the practical, environmentally conscious choices available for campus commuting.
