In line with the government's desire to pay attention to the well-being of public servants and, at the same time, enhance the quality, productivity, and service delivery, as well as aligning with the speech of the Right Honorable Prime Minister during the Women's Day celebration on March 8, 2022, the government has agreed to improve the existing Working From Home policy.

The improvements to the Work-from-Home (BDR) policy are as follows:

  1. Department heads are required to direct employees who have lost a spouse to take BDR immediately after the three-day Unrecorded Leave (CTR), as provided in MyPPSM Ceraian SR.5.2.1.

  2. The BDR period should be appropriate and not exceed two weeks, including weekly rest days, weekends, and public holidays, at the discretion of the department head.
