Researchers from IBEC - Institute of Biodiversity & Environmental Conservation (UNIMAS) featured in the documentary Simfoni Alam – Nasib Herpetofauna, which aired on TV1 on 9 August 2024 at 10:30 PM. The program highlighted the impacts of global warming, projected to increase Earth’s temperature by 1.5°C to 4.0°C this century, and deforestation on herpetofauna, exploring how these species adapt to changing habitats. Produced by the Magazine and Documentary Unit and directed by Nazatul Fareena Sheikh Md Rosli, the documentary emphasized the ecological importance of herpetofauna and their role in maintaining ecosystem balance.
