The Launching Ceremony of Striving Towards Emotional and Psychological Support (STEPS) was held at Arena Gemilang, DeTAR Putra on 4 October 2024 (Friday). The STEPS Know Your Mental Health session, conducted by the Psychology and Counselling Section (PsyCon) of the Student Services Centre (PKP) during the Student Orientation Week, served as a mental health screening initiative for new students. This effort plays a crucial role in identifying early signs of mental health issues, enabling professional counsellors from PsyCon UNIMAS to provide timely preventive support.

The main objective of the programme is to empower students with essential skills and strategies to enhance their mental well-being, thereby fostering a more positive and harmonious university environment. Congratulations to the Psychology and Counselling Section, Student Services Centre, and all parties involved for the successful organisation of this impactful initiative.
