The Pusat Pembelajaran dan Kesejahteraan Kanak‑Kanak dan Remaja (CALW@UNIMAS) was established at Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS) to pioneer research and innovation in child and adolescent development. According to Deputy Vice-Chancellor of Research & Innovation, Dr Siti Noor Linda Taib, the centre is committed to addressing the needs of children and adolescents especially those who are non-typical and those who have fallen behind in learningby focusing on their learning, well-being, emotional resilience, and development CALW@UNIMAS will serve as a knowledge and support hub for academics, parents, educators, policymakers and health professionals, and draws on expertise in child development, educational psychology, clinical psychology, counselling, special education, neuroscience and educational technology

The operation of TASKA UNIMAS aims to provide services to UNIMAS employees, offering early childhood education and care for staff’s children. It functions as a high-quality childcare centre during working hours and also provides opportunities for teaching, learning, and research in the field of child development for the university’s faculties, centres, institutes, and departments.
