1. | The Pusat Pembelajaran dan Kesejahteraan Kanak‑Kanak dan Remaja (CALW@UNIMAS) was established at Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS) to pioneer research and innovation in child and adolescent development. According to Deputy Vice-Chancellor of Research & Innovation, Dr Siti Noor Linda Taib, the centre is committed to addressing the needs of children and adolescents especially those who are non-typical and those who have fallen behind in learningby focusing on their learning, well-being, emotional resilience, and development CALW@UNIMAS will serve as a knowledge and support hub for academics, parents, educators, policymakers and health professionals, and draws on expertise in child development, educational psychology, clinical psychology, counselling, special education, neuroscience and educational technology | |||||||||||||
2. | The operation of TASKA UNIMAS aims to provide services to UNIMAS employees, offering early childhood education and care for staff’s children. It functions as a high-quality childcare centre during working hours and also provides opportunities for teaching, learning, and research in the field of child development for the university’s faculties, centres, institutes, and departments. | |||||||||||||
