On November 15, 2023,  ISuRE collaborated with the Associated Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Sarawak (ACCCIS) to conduct a fully-funded one-day training course titled "Getting SMEs On Board the ESG Journey" at Kuching Chinese General Chamber (KCGC) Innovation Hub. With 50 participants from diverse industries and professions, facilitated by Prof Ts Dr Shanti Faridah Salleh and Dr Florianna Lendai Michael, the course fostered active engagement, group discussions, and practical exercises, offering insights into Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) practices.

Discussion between UNIMAS ISuRE with Director (Mdm Nor Aini Sabil) and CEO (Mr. Mekic Dzevad) of Ease Group Asia Pacific (EGAP) Sdn Bhd. EGAP Sdn. Bhd. provides consultancy, design, engineering, training, development and maintenance services especially in green renewable energy industry (RE). The major goal of the discussion is to establish collaboration and partnerships in some of the identified renewable energy projects in Sarawak in order to utilize each other's experience by focusing on access to much needed technological know-how and expertise. Our focus is to develop local capabilities in micro/mini hydro development and
production, especially for micro grid application in the remote area. We hope that this valuable collaboration will result in successful renewable energy solutions and breakthroughs, allowing us to contribute to the national vision of green technology.
