The Student Welfare Unit ensures that students with disabilities (OKU) receive comprehensive support to enhance their well-being, accessibility, and full participation in university life. The unit coordinates campus accessibility improvements, provides personal assistance services, and facilitates academic accommodations tailored to individual needs. It also offers dedicated counselling, emotional support, and mentoring services to help OKU students navigate academic and personal challenges. Through ongoing advocacy, awareness initiatives, and collaboration with student groups, the unit fosters an inclusive campus culture. Additionally, it guides OKU students in securing financial aid and scholarships, ensuring they have equitable access to educational opportunities and support systems throughout their journey at UNIMAS.
