Welcome to SQRC
SQRC has focused on four main functions ie; Planning and Monitoring of the UNIMAS Strategic Plan; Ratings & Information Management Systems; UNIMAS Quality Management; and UNIMAS Risk Management. All of these functions are aimed at the implementation, compliance, enhancement and creation of a positive culture to surpass UNIMAS towards glory.
UNIMAS 2030

UNIMAS 2030 Strategic Plan sets out the University’s direction for the 2026–2030 period, defining how Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS) will teach, learn, research, engage, and operate in an increasingly complex higher education environment.
The Plan is anchored by the IDEA Framework: Inspiring People, Driving Innovation, Enhancing Global Influence, and Advancing Sustainability – that provides the operating logic through which institutional outcomes are produced.
IDEA is enacted through seven Strategic Priorities:

What We Do?
SQRC has 4 units to carry out its functions.

Management and Finance Unit
This unit main function are Functional Training and Consultancy Services, JSKU and JKPR Secretariat, General Administration and Finance

Strategic Management Unit
This unit main function are to Planning and Strategic Projects Monitoring & Ratings and Rating Information Management (THE Ranking, QS Ranking, QS Rating, MyMoheS, MPI, SETARA, and OBB)

Quality Management Unit
This unit main function are to implement quality management certification

Risk Management Unit
This unit provide consultations on risk management policy and procedures, provide administrative advice in regard to risk assessment and screening on new projects, provide support to faculty/department in the identification, evaluation, mitigation and monitoring of risks.
